    Our Indoor Climate business holds a number of customer insight councils in its main markets where customers’ responsible business agendas are discussed. It is increasingly evident that greater energy efficiency has a direct, positive impact on building occupancy rates and valuations and our customers are looking for IMI to assist them in achieving their goals in this area.

  • New product innovations

    Our Severe Service business has been developing a variety of new products to help customers reduce carbon emissions and other gases. This has included its new ‘CoolMist’ solution which has helped a major customer reduce CO2 emissions by around 20% for a specific application in a combined cycle plant in North America.

  • Sustainable solutions for global brands

    Our Beverage Dispense and Merchandising businesses continue to develop more sustainable solutions for global brand owners and retailers, who have themselves set demanding targets for reducing their carbon footprint. Our new energy efficient coolers for both carbonated soft drinks and beer continue to make a difference. We also launched the ‘Freedom Barrel’ for merchandising cold drinks. Manufactured from reprocessed materials, this portable knock-down barrel delivers significant reductions in packaging, transportation requirements and warehousing space.

Global concerns relating to energy efficiency and climate change, whether driven by legislation or not, have a positive impact on customer demand for our products and services – many of which are clearly dedicated to energy efficient operation.
