"Green" features and benefits align with customer's commitment to sustainability

Requirement: Sustainability is embedded in The Kroger Co’s values and they were looking for a partner who could work with them to deliver a sustainable reliable frozen dispenser solution for new convenience retailing areas they were introducing into a number of their stores.

Solution: IMI Cornelius introduced its “Viper” frozen carbonated beverage machine (FCB) to the customer. Viper sets itself apart from the competition with a design offering energy-saving features that result in 25% less energy being used than traditional FCB equipment. Viper also allows maximum uptime and reduced wear on components and its LED lighting reduces waste, providing seven times the life expectancy compared with fluorescent bulbs. In addition, the insulating foam used in Viper is environmentally-friendly with zero ozone depleting potential.
